Job Description

Key Responsibility Areas:

CFO office lead will serve as the strategic partner and execution arm to the CFO, ensuring high-quality decision making, business performance transparency, and delivery of cross-functional initiatives (incl. special projects).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support monthly / quarterly performance reviews across BUs & Finance Performance Management
  • Ensure CFO receives stress-tested, decision-ready dashboards and analysis
  • Manage CFO weekly priorities (business health, Board & Group asks)
  • Oversee prioritization and alignment of CFO calendar to strategic goals
  • Shadow CFO in key meetings; prepare briefs, risk notes & financial analyses Strategic Decision Support
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans for Finance & BUs
  • Identify business risks/opportunities requiring CFO intervention
  • Support on CII / other forums Lead CFO-Sponsored Strategic Initiatives
  • Program manage cross-functional initiatives
  • Drive concept-to-execution delivery with clear governance and tracking Special Projects Lead
  • Lead enterprise-level initiatives that do not sit with any specific function
  • Corporate Development Support Communication & Stakeholder Alignment
  • Support M&A evaluation, due diligence, subsidiary restructuring, JV reviews
  • Prepare CFO / Board-ready materials for inorganic opportunities
  • Ensure clear relay of CFO decisions to Finance and BU heads
  • Prepare CFO for investor / analyst / industry engagements with IR
  • Maintain consistency, clarity, and follow-through across stakeholders

Expected Qualifications:

  • MBA from top IIMs / MBA institutions
  • 3 4 years in top consulting firms (e.g., MBB) or strategy related roles • Experience working directly with CXOs or senior leadership
  • Preferred: Experience in automotive and exposure to M&A, finance

  • Strong problem-solving and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication & executive presence
  • Program management discipline and ability to drive cross-functional outcomes
  • Ability to manage confidential information and complex stakeholders
