The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data engineering principles, particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You will lead a team of data engineers, driving the design, development, and implementation of data solutions that support our clients strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities.
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable data solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring high levels of performance, reliability, and security. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data pipelines and applications. - Oversee the development and management of data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services. - Mentor and guide junior data engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning. - Evaluate and implement best practices for data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions. - Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational data governance policies. - Monitor and optimize data pipelines for efficiency and scalability. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Azure and data engineering to continually enhance our service offerings.
Qualifications.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Azure technologies. - Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Functions. - Experience with data integration and ETL tools, specifically Azure Data Factory. - Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala. - Solid understanding of data modeling techniques and data warehousing concepts. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
