Lead AWS Data Engineer

As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the following: - Multi-year work experience as a Platform Lead, Delivery Leader, or similar role. - Good working knowledge of AWS Services, Python, Pyspark, data modeling. - Knowledge of columnar and NoSQL databases, predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data. - Knowledge of ETL, data mining, Data Warehousing, and segmentation techniques. - Knowledge of databases (Azure SQL, MSQL), data lakes (e.g., Azure Data Lake/Delta lakes), Processing tools (e.g., Databricks/HDInsight), and BI and Reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or similar technologies. - Experience working with advanced data management, data processing, and data science-related exploration of data to create insights that drive business decision-making. - Experience working knowledge of modern infrastructure automation technology stacks and the ability to identify the best tool for the task. - Understanding of the different types of Agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level. - Openness for knowledge transfer; willingness to coach others and help them to learn. - Excellent analytical skills and quick grasp. - Independent way of working with high proactivity. - Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. - Excellent written, verbal, communication with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to communicate with customers clearly and straightforwardly. - Demonstrated ability to engage in self-directed learning activities, with an interest in continually developing and improving skills and knowledge.
