Lead Auditor

Role Overview: As a Lead Auditor at SGS, your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: - Acting as the sole or lead auditor on RBS audit schemes, whether 2nd Party or 3rd Party Audits - Leading and organizing the audit team before, during, and after the audit for the related job - Making relevant decisions concerning the audit process - Ensuring effective delivery of audits in line with RBS Global Procedures and any Scheme requirements or client SOPs - Meeting agreed turnaround times for reporting and other deliverables - Responding to client enquiries on technical matters - Presenting a professional image in all dealings with clients and auditees - Promoting the SGS approach and services at seminars, through presentations, and articles - Providing technical input to back office and sales teams as required - Performing technical reviews of reports from other auditors - Actively developing relationships through existing networks and contacts - Remaining up-to-date with current thinking and client expectations in the field; establishing and maintaining a network of stakeholders including NGOs, industry bodies, and related contacts; attending public and client-led conferences; reading news related to the topic of interest - Ensuring full compliance with the Company's Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct and Impartiality Policy and encouraging others to do so - Cooperating fully with any investigations in relation to Quality issues or Integrity where required - Adopting safe behavior by exercising due regard for your own health and safety and that of colleagues and clients, in line with the Company's policies and procedures - Witnessing other auditors for the effectiveness of auditing to ensure that competence is maintained - Mentoring auditors and providing on-the-job training - Maintaining and developing your own skills and knowledge both technologically and in the field of management system and standards as part of continuous professional development (CPD) where appropriate - Providing commercial referrals to Sales and Marketing department and assisting in the company business budget achievement - Performing any other responsibilities as assigned by your manager Qualification Required: - Lead Auditor - Social Audits - APSCA - Lead Auditor (Higg Auditor) - Lead Auditor - IFS - Lead Auditor - IMS - Lead Auditor - SA 8000,
