Job Description

Lead Associate, IT OT Engineer!

IT/OT Engineer

Responsibilities

Skills to remotely operate VMware suite of products (VIClient, vCenter Portal, Power CLI and so on) and should have basic skill to remotely operation other connected services and products like (RDP, SSH, ILO/iDRAC, VNC).

Basic knowledge of SAN, NAS, DAS, RAID, SCSI, Fibre Channel, Backups, clustering, encryption technologies from multiple vendors.

Knowledge in PLC/SCDA/DCS programming, protocols such as Profibus, OPC, and EtherNet/IP are considered as additional qualification.

Installation and commissioning (not just troubleshooting) of VMware's Edge solutions (EXSi).

Building images customized for Industrial Automation applications (Should be aware of the domain, firewall, security and inter-server communication requirements of multi-server automation systems like Aveva system Platform, PlantPAx, Aveva PI systems).

Installation of application software for the above-mentioned Automation systems.

Configuration and diagnostics of Network Switches (not just troubleshooting).

Jump host management to permit remote access to test environments.

Product security risk analysis and mitigation - optional but an additional advantage.

Experience with industry cyber security standards (IEC 62433, ISA 99, NIST 800-53, etc.) implementation and governance

Experience with three layer switch configurations, VLAN segmentation, firewall configuration

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors in Electronics / Instrumentation / Computer science / IT / Electrical / Communication Engineering.

A minimum years of industrial experience in maintenance of HW's like Servers, Communication switches, PLC and Industrial automation systems.

Good technical skills

Good interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills

Clear thinking and diligent approach

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Should have the Enthusiasm to learn related technologies.

Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architecture.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
