Description
The role of IT Solutions Architect involves ensuring the successful implementation of new IT systems, from solution design to development and deployment. You will provide technical leadership during the planning, design, and architect phases of IT solutions development. Your responsibilities will include leading a large development team, analyzing complex functional and business requirements, and providing mentoring and guidance to other developers. As an IT Solutions Architect, you will demonstrate technical leadership, exert influence outside of your immediate team, and apply in-depth technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across various technology areas. You will work with HP and 3rd party technologies to design complex infrastructure and software solutions, implement end-user or enterprise infrastructure services, and ensure the security of software applications through the implementation of security measures and best practices. In this role, you will collaborate with CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment processes, integrating technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for HP and customers. You will also mentor and consult with team members, other organizations, customers, and vendors on complex issues. To be successful in this position, a four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is recommended, along with 7-10 years of work experience in computer programming languages, testing tools, or a related field. A certification in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar is preferred. Your knowledge and skills should include expertise in Mulesoft, enterprise integration, CI/CD pipeline, and Jira. Additionally, you should possess effective communication skills, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity. In this role, you will impact function and lead or provide expertise to functional project teams, participating in cross-functional initiatives.
