Job Description

Role Overview: As a Business Analyst, your primary role will be to serve as the main liaison between business stakeholders and the IT function. You will utilize various business analysis tools and techniques to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization. Your recommendations will focus on enabling the organization to achieve its goals effectively. Your work will be crucial in ensuring alignment with the Eaton PROLaunch project management process standards. Key Responsibilities: - Business Analysis Planning: Assist in planning the business analysis approach, deliverables, and planning estimates for medium projects (runners, minor and major repeaters). - Requirements Elicitation: Conduct requirements gathering activities such as brainstorming, focus groups, interviews, observation, prototyping, and workshops. Document the results requirements for small or runner projects. - Requirements Management & Communication: Ensure that requirements meet the business objectives and solution design. Communicate requirements in a format that is understandable to stakeholders, including solutions designers and developers. - Requirements Analysis: Analyze, prioritize, and organize requirements to focus on critical needs. Model requirements to demonstrate process and/or solution function. - Validation: Coordinate the development of use cases and test scenarios with the customer to ensure user acceptance testing validates project requirements. Additional Company Details: This position involves working on projects that deploy and integrate solutions across the engineering portfolio. This includes Portfolio/Project Management, PLM, CAD, Design Simulation, Design Automation, MES, ERP, Data Lake, and other engineering-adjacent applications to enable unified Digital Threads. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. - 9 plus years of IT or relevant work experience in the engineering domain. Skills: Must Have: - Working knowledge of foundational engineering processes including New Product Development (NPD/NPI) and Change Management. - Familiarity with core engineering digital design applications including MCAD, ECAD, and design simulation. Preferred Skills: - Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jira), PPM tools (e.g., Clarity ProPM), MBSE, Product Lifecycle Management (e.g., Dassault Enovia and/or 3DExperience), Export Control data management practices, Engineering Requirements Management (e.g., Doors, JAMA), Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and dashboards (e.g., PowerBI). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Good team-oriented interpersonal skills. - Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
