Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review agreements related to property purchase, sale, lease, joint ventures, and partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with real estate, RERA, and other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for land/property acquisitions.
  • Handle title verification and resolve disputes related to ownership or encumbrances.
  • Provide legal opinions and risk assessments for management decisions.
  • Liaise with government authorities, legal consultants, and external counsel as required.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitration, or negotiations when necessary.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of changes in property and corporate law.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); Master’s in Law (LLM) is preferred.
  • Minimum 4–7 years of experience in real estate law, property transactions, or corporate law (experience in a real estate company preferred).
  • Strong understanding of land laws, RERA, stamp duty, and registration processes.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide strategic legal guidance.
