Laundry Attendant/ Supervisor

Laundry Operations: ● Sort and classify laundry based on color, fabric type, and cleaning process. ● Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment efficiently and safely. ● Use the appropriate detergents, bleaches, and fabric softeners as per garment care instructions. ● Inspect garments for stains, damages, and special care requirements before processing. ● Apply stain removal techniques for different types of fabrics. ● Fold, press, and package cleaned garments while maintaining quality standards. Customer Service Maintain an order log, label garments accurately, and track orders through the laundry management system. ● Handle customer complaints or special requests professionally and promptly. ● Educate customers on service offerings and pricing. Store Maintenance and Hygiene: ● Maintain a clean and organized work area, including laundry machines, folding tables, and customer waiting areas. ● Dispose of waste and used cleaning materials following safety guidelines. ● Regularly inspect machines for maintenance needs and report issues to the supervisor. ● Follow all health and safety protocols during laundry operations. Inventory and Stock Management: ● Monitor and maintain inventory of detergents, fabric softeners, and other supplies. ● Notify the manager when supplies are running low. ● Ensure that cleaning chemicals are stored and handled safely. Skills and Qualifications: Prior experience as a Laundry Attendant or similar role is preferred. ● Familiarity with laundry detergents, fabric types, and washing techniques. ● Basic understanding of washing, drying, and folding techniques. ● Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently. ● Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service. ● Excellent customer service and communication skills. ● Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy laundry loads. ● Basic computer skills for processing orders.
