Operate lathe machines (conventional or CNC) to manufacture components for aluminium dies as per drawings and specifications. Perform turning, facing, threading, grooving, and boring operations with precision. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds based on material and job requirements. Measure finished components using micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and other precision instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy. Maintain machines and tools in good working condition by performing routine checks and basic maintenance. Collaborate with die makers, tool room engineers, and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and quality standards. Record daily production details and report any deviations or issues to the supervisor
