Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced PHP Laravel Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining modern web applications using the Laravel framework, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable backend solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and Laravel . Write clean, modular, and scalable code following best practices and design patterns . Integrate third-party APIs and develop RESTful web services. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security. Maintain and manage database schemas, relationships, and queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL). Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation. Work with Agile/Scrum teams to meet sprint goals and deliverables. Required Skills and Qualifications: 3+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development , with at least 2 years in Laravel . Strong understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles . Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases and writing efficient SQL queries. Knowledge of RESTful APIs , authentication (OAuth, JWT), and Laravel middleware. Proficiency with Git , Composer, and Laravel Artisan CLI. Familiarity with Laravel features like Eloquent ORM, Blade templating, Queues, and Laravel Scheduler. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Vue.js, React.js , or other frontend JavaScript frameworks. Understanding of Docker , CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean). Familiarity with unit testing and TDD using PHPUnit. Working knowledge of Redis , ElasticSearch , or queue workers .
