About the Role: BestBuy Laptop is seeking an experienced and skilled Chip Level Technician for laptop and desktop repair. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of motherboard repair, component replacement, and diagnostics at the hardware level. Key Responsibilities:🔍 Diagnose and repair laptops/desktops at the chip level 🧰 Troubleshoot issues related to motherboard, ICs, BIOS, charging, display, and power 🔄 Replace and rework SMD components using soldering/rework stations 🧪 Test and ensure all repaired systems are 100% functional 📦 Maintain proper record of parts used and work done 🤝 Coordinate with the service and sales teams for repair updates Requirements:Minimum 3 years of chip level repair experience Knowledge of various laptop brands (HP, Dell, Lenovo, etc.) Ability to read schematics and use testing tools (multimeter, CRO) Understanding of BIOS flashing and short detection Good work ethics and attention to detail Benefits:💰 Competitive salary based on experience 🛠️ Tools and workspace provided 📈 Opportunity to grow in a leading IT hardware company 👥 Friendly work environment
