Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and qualified Lab Technician to join our medical team. The Lab Technician will be responsible for collecting, preparing, and testing biological samples, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of test results. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of laboratory best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and label patient samples (blood, urine, stool, sputum, etc.)
• Perform routine and specialized lab tests as per protocols
• Prepare specimens for examination and handle sample processing
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes, and analyzers
• Record and report test results accurately in the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Maintain cleanliness, sterility, and hygiene of the lab area
• Ensure proper disposal of biohazard materials and follow safety protocols
• Maintain inventory of lab reagents and supplies
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other technicians to support patient care
• Ensure compliance with internal quality control (IQC) and external quality assurance (EQA) standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / BMLT)
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience preferred (freshers may be considered for junior roles)
• Knowledge of clinical pathology, hematology, biochemistry, and microbiology
• Familiarity with lab safety protocols and infection control measures
• Proficient in handling lab software and equipment
• Good communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
