Lab Technician(civil)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Lab Technician to carry out testing and quality control of concrete and its materials to ensure compliance with mix design, IS codes, and project specifications. The role involves on-site and laboratory testing for both fresh and hardened concrete.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct slump test, compaction factor test, flow test for fresh concrete
• Cast and test concrete cubes, cylinders, and core samples
• Perform compressive strength tests using CTM
• Check and monitor concrete mix design compliance
• Test cement, aggregates, and admixtures as per IS standards
• Maintain daily concrete test records, cube registers, and reports
• Ensure proper curing procedures at site
• Coordinate with QA/QC Engineer, Batching Plant, and Site Engineers
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, and cleanliness

Eligibility

• Diploma in Civil Engineering / ITI in Lab Technology
• Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete testing (RMC or site lab preferred)
• Strong knowledge of IS 456, IS 516, IS 10262

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
