Lab Technician

As a Lab Incharge, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the chemistry laboratory. Your role will involve managing laboratory activities, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of quality. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise laboratory staff and students to ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures. - Manage laboratory inventory, equipment, and supplies efficiently. - Develop and implement laboratory procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines. - Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments within the laboratory. - Collaborate with faculty and researchers to develop and implement research projects effectively. - Provide technical support and training to laboratory staff and students. - Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, experiments, and results. Qualifications Required: - MSc in Chemistry or related field. - Experience in laboratory management and supervision. - Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Skills: - Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS). - Knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). - Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
