Position: Lab Technician

Location: Umayanalloor, Kollam (1.5 km from NH66)

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc MLT (BMLT) or M.Sc MLT only
• Valid Paramedical Council Registration is mandatory
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Lab Technician
• Experience in a Hospital Laboratory or Clinical Laboratory of a Diagnostic Lab Chain is preferred
• Working knowledge of Biochemistry and Hematology analyzers is required

Job Role

• Performing routine laboratory investigations and generating accurate reports
• Collecting, labeling, handling, and processing patient samples hygienically
• Recording results and maintaining proper documentation
• Coordinating with OPD, Pharmacy, and Clinical teams for smooth daily operations
• Managing patient queries politely and professionally
• Working under the supervision of the Lab In-Charge

Responsibilities

• Following all SOPs related to sample processing, documentation, billing, and communication
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organized laboratory environment
• Handling sample billing entries, basic inventory records, and report dispatch as instructed
• Adhering to professional conduct, grooming, and patient-care standards
• Reporting operational issues or irregularities promptly to the Lab In-Charge

About Us

We are an established OP Clinic with over 20 years of operations, supported by:

• 4 full-time OP doctors
• Approximately 20 staff across Clinical, Pharmacy, and Diagnostics departments
• An in-house Clinical Laboratory integrated with OP services

Work Schedule

• 6 days working
• 1 weekly off

Shift Timings

• Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
