Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lab Technician to join our team in Assam, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Karnataka, Andhra / Telangana. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience.

Roles and Responsibility

Conduct smear microscopy, staining, and NAAT for sputum, EPTB, and pediatric samples following SOPs and NTEP guidelines.
Maintain laboratory records and ensure timely reporting of results to the Medical Officer and project team.
Coordinate with staff to ensure prompt testing of pulmonary and extra-pulmonary samples.
Assist the Medical Officer in identifying MDR-TB suspects and ensuring proper collection and transportation of sputum specimens.
Oversee and supervise the safe disposal of contaminated laboratory materials.
Support the Senior Medical Officer in implementing NTEP Laboratory Quality Assurance measures.

Job Requirements

Intermediate (10+2) and Diploma or certified course in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in NTEP sample testing using Sputum smear microscopy and NAAT.
Possess strong knowledge of standard operating procedures, quality assurance, and data management.
Demonstrate excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Willingness to travel and adaptability to changing circumstances.
