Lab technician

Role Overview: As a Lab Technician at our paint manufacturing unit, you will be responsible for conducting quality tests on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished paints to ensure compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct quality control tests including viscosity, gloss, adhesion, drying time, color matching, etc. - Maintain lab records and documentation in accordance with ISO/BIS standards. - Assist production by making in-process quality adjustments. - Support Research & Development in new product trials and testing. - Ensure the safe handling of chemicals and lab equipment. Qualifications Required: - Diploma / B.Sc. in Chemistry, Paint Technology, or related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paint or chemical testing laboratory. - Proficiency in working with lab instruments such as viscometer, spectrophotometer, gloss meter, etc. - Strong record-keeping, observation, and teamwork skills.
