Lab Technician

Join our team as a Lab Technician- Pathology, where you will be responsible for critical tasks such as blood collection, ensuring testing quality, and handling emergencies. You will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of patient care and adapting to the latest medical technologies to contribute to our mission driven by Ethics, Experience, Excellence, and Expertise. Your responsibilities will include blood collection of OPD and IPD-directed patients, carrying out procedures as per the SOP, informing STAT reports to O.T/I.C.U/Wards within reasonable time limits, and ensuring testing quality standards and practices are complied with, maintained, and evaluated when necessary. You will also be responsible for rejecting material that looks unsuitable for testing purposes, reporting instrument breakdowns to the Supervisor, and out-sourcing samples to other laboratories/hospitals in case of equipment breakdown. Evaluating the quality and appropriateness of tests, providing written MIS reports at routine intervals, resolving service/quality issues with follow-through, and ensuring customer satisfaction will be part of your daily tasks. To qualify for this position, you must have a BSC MLT degree, a minimum of 2 years of experience, good interpersonal skills, technical skills, be people-oriented, flexible, adaptable, and continuously upgrade yourself in new trends in the field.
