Lab Helper

Job Purpose:

To assist the laboratory team in carrying out routine concrete testing, sample collection, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the lab area to ensure smooth RMC quality operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting raw material samples (cement, sand, aggregate, water, admixture, etc.) from the plant or site.
• Help in preparing and casting concrete cube samples for testing.
• Carry cubes to curing tanks and maintain proper labeling and record.
• Assist in cube testing (compression test) under supervision.
• Support the lab technician in daily testing of materials and concrete mix.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and curing tanks.
• Dispose of waste material safely and maintain lab hygiene.
• Help in keeping testing reports, registers, and stock records up to date.
• Follow safety norms and PPE requirements at all times.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Lab In-Charge or Quality Head.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 10th pass or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of concrete and construction materials preferred.
• Physically fit to handle samples and equipment.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Willing to work in shifts and outdoor conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
