L4 Java Engineer (Incident Fixing & Delivery Support)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing expert-level troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization for complex Production and Pre-production technical issues. Additionally, you will perform root cause analysis of production incidents and implement long-term corrective actions. Your role will involve implementing robust, secure, and scalable fixes and adding enhancements in the codebase. Collaborating with clients, architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions will also be a key aspect. You will lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards. Supporting the deployment and release process, including CI/CD pipeline improvements, and mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers will also be part of your responsibilities. Participation in On-call Support following a rotation schedule and contributing to architectural discussions for improving scalability and fault tolerance will be expected. Qualifications: - Strong programming skills in Java backend language, with strong expertise in Java SE and EE. Front-end development (JavaScript, Angular, React) skills are a big advantage. - Proficiency in frameworks such as Spring (Core, Boot, MVC), Hibernate, and related technologies. - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration patterns. - Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL optimization. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven), Git, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). - Strong knowledge of observability tools (e.g., ELK, Splunk, Dynatrace). - Ability to work in On-call rotations and handle high-pressure production issues. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills. Nice to Have: - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, React) for full-stack development. - ITIL certification or exposure to IT service management practices. - Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.,
