Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled L3 OpenShift Admin with an expertise of 10 years to join our dynamic team.

Requirements:

Should have overall 10+ years of experience of where minimum 4+ in Redhat Linux Administration experience as a L3 Admin.
At least 6+ years of Admin experience in OpenShift Administration.
Sound foundation in ITIL Service Management with exposure to Incident, Problem and Change Management.
Proficient in Containers and Orchestrations (Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Rancher, Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM)).
Must manage Red Hat OpenShift/ Kubernetes clusters (versions 3.x and 4.x), including installation, upgrades and maintenance using both manual and automated approaches.
Experience in migrating and transitioning Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure.
Should maintain and develop Docker images/ containers for various technology stacks, setting up and managing Docker private repositories, and creating Docker files to build custom Docker images.
Expertise in building and configuring Kubernetes-based infrastructure, including core components like DNS, Kube Proxy, Ingress and leveraging Kubernetes for deploying services.
Seasoned in Linux systems and scripting for automation.
Proficient in automation and configuration management frameworks like Ansible.
Familiarity in automating the build of containerized systems using CI/CD tools, Helm charts and more. Managing deployments and rollbacks of applications.
Expertise in OCP project onboarding, authentication, role, role bindings and certificate installation.
Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection and availability.
Skilled in Red Hat OpenShift performance tuning and Proficient in OpenShift capacity and availability management.
Exposure in migrating OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) from lower versions to higher versions.
Sound skills in OpenShift security management.
Knowledge with Azure Cloud is an added advantage.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track the performance and health of OpenShift clusters and applications.
Exposure in planning and implementing disaster recovery solutions.
Enforcing security and compliance policies within the OpenShift environment.
Experience in configuring and managing network policies and services within OpenShift.
Should allocate and manage resources such as CPU, memory and storage.
Integrate OpenShift with other tools and platforms like ServiceNow and Elasticsearch for monitoring and alerting.
Must have experience in handling incidents related to high memory utilization and note down alerts and categorizing incidents based on their severity.
Experience in creating and maintaining KB articles, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately reflect the current state of the OpenShift environment.
Preferred certification in OpenShift Administration.
