As a Software Engineer at HCL Tech, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in C/C++, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Python for testing. Your primary role will involve designing and developing Layer-3 networking protocols. Your problem-solving skills, software development capabilities, and troubleshooting proficiency will be crucial in ensuring the efficient functioning of networking solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate strong programming skills in C, along with proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms. - Utilize Python for automation/testing purposes. - Possess in-depth knowledge of networking concepts and routing protocols. - Hands-on experience in at least one of the following protocols: - Unicast protocols: BGP, IS-IS, OSPF - Multicast protocols: PIM, IGMP, MSDP - MPLS signaling protocols: RSVP - Layer-3 VPNs - Exhibit excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities. - Showcase strong communication and teamwork skills. Qualifications Required: - Educational background in BE/B. Tech/M. Tech/MCA. - Relevant work experience of 3.8 to 10 years. - Work locations available in Chennai, Bangalore, or Hyderabad.
