Job Description

LI Deployment and Operations

Telecom Network Fundamentals

Strong understanding of 2G / 3G / 4G / 5G network architecture (Core, Access, Transport layers)
Knowledge of Network Elements (NEs) such as MSC, SGSN, GGSN, MME, SGW, PGW, AMF, SMF, UPF, etc.
Familiarity with protocols like:
SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, RTP, GTP-C/U, Diameter, HTTP2 (for 5G)
TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP
Good grasp of call flow analysis and packet capture tools (Wireshark, tcpdump) LI Standards & Interfaces

Lawful Interception-Specific Knowledge

Knowledge of ETSI / 3GPP / DoT LI standards
ETSI TS 101 671 (handover interface for IP)
ETSI TS 102 232 (IP interception)
3GPP TS 33.106 / 33.107 / 33.108
Understanding of HI1, HI2, and HI3 interfaces:
HI1: Administrative interface
HI2: Intercept Related Information (IRI)
HI3: Content of Communication (CC)
Familiarity with Mediation Devices and Collection Functions
