Kubernetes Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes Administrator to manage and maintain our container orchestration platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes, containerization technologies, and cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (on-premises or cloud).Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.

Implement cluster monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.

Manage Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, and service meshes.

Ensure security best practices, RBAC policies, and namespace isolationAutomate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.Troubleshoot cluster and application issues.

Perform upgrades, patches, and scaling of Kubernetes clusters.

Work closely with DevOps and development teams for application deployments.

Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2-6 years of experience in Kubernetes administration.

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or on-prem).

Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, components, and APIs.

Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests (YAML).

Knowledge of Linux system administration.Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, etc.).

Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

Understanding of container networking and security best practices.

Good scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go preferred).

Good to Have:Kubernetes certification (CKA/CKAD/CKS).

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and API gateways.

Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
