Knowledge Foundry - Pharma demand forecasting

As an Analytical Demand Planning Automation Analyst for our pharma client based in Pune/Hyderabad, you will be responsible for enhancing forecast accuracy and automating processes using tools like R, VBA, Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft Office. Your role involves collaborating with global and cross-functional teams to optimize demand planning strategies and drive operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your expertise in demand and supply planning processes, demand forecasting, inventory management, and industry best practices. - Demonstrate proficiency in R for statistical analysis, VBA for Excel automation, Microsoft Power BI for reporting, and Microsoft Office tools for data analysis and presentations. - Generate statistical and consensus forecasts aligned with business objectives and leverage tools like Kinaxis RapidResponse for planning accuracy. - Collaborate with regional/global stakeholders, local planning teams, marketing, and finance to refine forecasts and estimate promotional volumes. - Participate actively in monthly planning forums to align production plans, manage exceptions, and optimize processes by reducing MAPE and forecast bias. - Review forecasts regularly to enhance accuracy, optimize ROP and Safety Stock levels, manage inventories, and utilize verified data for better forecasting. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, and statistical forecasting. - Strong technical skills in R, VBA, Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft Office. - Familiarity with tools like Kinaxis RapidResponse is preferred. - Proficiency in time series analysis, regression, and demand forecasting. - Excellent data manipulation, visualization, and decision-making skills.
