Job Summary The Kitchen Helper assists chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a hygienic and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential in supporting smooth kitchen operations by ensuring cleanliness, proper storage of ingredients, and readiness of utensils and equipment. Key Responsibilities Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits. Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, floors, utensils, and equipment. Ensure dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery are properly washed, dried, and stored. Assist chefs in meal plating and preparation during busy periods. Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain cleanliness in storage and garbage areas. Receive, unpack, and store deliveries in the appropriate storage areas. Ensure all food items are properly labeled and stored according to hygiene standards. Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations. Support other kitchen staff and perform additional duties as required by supervisors.
