Food Preparation: Basic Tasks: Chopping vegetables, washing and peeling fruits and vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing basic sauces. Following Recipes: Preparing dishes according to established recipes. Assisting with Cooking: Helping senior chefs with cooking tasks like sautéing, steaming, and deep-frying. Kitchen Maintenance & Operations: Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including washing dishes and equipment, and disinfecting surfaces. Safety: Ensuring food safety standards are followed, including proper storage and handling. Inventory: Assisting with monitoring and replenishing supplies. Equipment: Operating kitchen equipment like ovens, stoves, and fryers. Other Responsibilities: Teamwork: Working collaboratively with other kitchen staff. Communication: Communicating with chefs and other staff. Training: Participating in kitchen training and development. Hygiene: Maintaining personal hygiene and a clean uniform. Following Procedures: Adhering to company policies and procedures.
