Job Description

As a Sales Representative at Ferring India M&S, your main accountabilities include interfacing with healthcare professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals in your assigned territory. Your primary goal is to present and inform these professionals about the company's products in order to obtain prescriptions. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, driving sales growth, and controlling expenses. In your role, you will visit doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals according to the marketing strategy set by the company. You must adhere to the approved frequency and number of impacts for each segment of doctors. Building and maintaining relationships with these stakeholders is crucial, along with attending scientific congresses as required. Additionally, you will classify doctors and other stakeholders based on segmentation and targeting criteria. You will propose new doctors to add to the files, suggest changes or removals, and track the prescription habits of doctors. Understanding their consideration of the products, prescription potential, and influence on other doctors is essential for success. To ensure accurate and updated information is provided to healthcare professionals, you will use marketing materials effectively, address any concerns or objections, and highlight the advantages of the company's products compared to competitors. Collaboration with other departments may be necessary to complete this information dissemination. Furthermore, gathering market information about doctors" concerns, competitor activities, and public tenders is part of your responsibilities. This data will help in testing the marketing strategy and materials, allowing you to adjust tactics accordingly. Transmitting relevant information to stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, marketing, and your line manager, is crucial for customer satisfaction and sales growth.
