Juniper Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer at this company in Mumbai, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Deploying and overseeing data center network infrastructure - Offering L2/L3 troubleshooting and incident resolution - Maintaining and updating Junos OS on Juniper devices - Troubleshooting network reachability and configuration issues - Managing EVPN-VXLAN and IP Fabric environments - Handling escalations and critical incidents independently - Collaborating with clients and OEMs to ensure high service standards You are expected to have hands-on experience with Juniper ACX, QFX, and EX series switches. Proficiency in VLANs, STP/RSTP, ACLs, and firewall filters is crucial. You should also possess a deep understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP. Experience in handling EVPN-VXLAN, IP Fabric Underlay, and Overlay networks is required. Additionally, you should be proficient in day-to-day data center operations, including DC/DR activities. Preferred or optional skills include holding a JNCIS Enterprise Routing and switching certification and having advanced knowledge of data center technologies, encompassing overlay and underlay network infrastructure. Your ability to swiftly resolve issues with minimal supervision, manage escalations and high-severity incidents, work flexible hours and rotational shifts, and demonstrate strong client and OEM stakeholder management abilities will be essential.
