As a Junior Web Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining HTML/CSS/JS-based static websites, building and customizing websites using WordPress, and converting PSD/Figma designs into responsive websites. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to ensure that websites are user-friendly, optimized, and visually appealing. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining HTML/CSS/JS-based static websites. - Building and customizing websites using WordPress (themes, plugins, page builders like Elementor/Divi, etc.). - Converting PSD/Figma designs into responsive websites. - Ensuring websites are cross-browser compatible and mobile responsive. - Optimizing websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices. - Assisting in troubleshooting, bug fixing, and implementing updates on existing sites. - Collaborating with designers and senior developers to execute client projects. - Staying updated with the latest web technologies and WordPress trends. In order to excel in this role, you should have: - Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. - Experience in WordPress theme customization & plugin integration. - Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first approach. - Familiarity with website hosting, domains, and cPanel/WordPress installation. - Basic knowledge of SEO-friendly web structure. - Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): - Knowledge of PHP & MySQL (basic level). - Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi. - Familiarity with Git/GitHub. - Understanding of Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools. Education & Experience: - Bachelors degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Web Development (or relevant field). - Freshers with strong skills or 1 year of experience in web development preferred.
