Job Description

We are looking for a creative Junior Video Editor with hands-on experience in desktop-based CapCut or Filmora. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working on a system (not mobile) and should be able to create clean, engaging, and professional video content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit videos using CapCut Desktop or Filmora Desktop.
• Create ads, reels, shorts, promotional videos, and basic motion edits.
• Add transitions, text overlays, captions, music, and sound effects.
• Organize raw footage and turn it into polished final versions.
• Maintain video quality, brand consistency, and proper formatting.
• Collaborate with the creative/marketing teams to meet project goals.
• Keep up with trending editing styles and platform-specific requirements.
• Meet project deadlines with high attention to detail.

Requirements

• 0–1 year of professional or freelance video editing experience.
• Mandatory: PC/Laptop-based editing only (No mobile editors).
• Proficiency in CapCut (Desktop) or Filmora (Desktop).
• Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual style.
• Basic knowledge of sound syncing, color adjustments, and formatting.
• Ability to handle multiple edits in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of Canva or simple graphic design tools.
• Experience editing social media content for brands/influencers.
• Understanding of YouTube, Instagram, and ad formats.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Virugambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
