About the Role

Junior Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality

  Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and full-length YouTube videos.

• Trim, arrange, and enhance raw footage into polished, engaging content.
• Add text overlays, captions, music, transitions, and effects to match the brand style.
• Maintain a fast turnaround while ensuring quality and consistency.
• Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short clips for social media.
• Collaborate with the creative team for storyboarding and concept execution.
• Stay updated with social media editing trends, effects, and formats.
• Organize and manage media assets for easy access and future use.
  

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate skills in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar).
• Understanding of aspect ratios, resolutions, and formats for different platforms.
• Creative eye for pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and adapt to feedback.
• Good time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of trending sounds, effects, and editing styles on Instagram/YouTube.
  

Preferred Skills

• Motion graphics or basic animation experience (After Effects or Canva animation tools).
• Basic audio editing and sound balancing skills.
• Experience creating thumbnails for YouTube videos (optional).
