Role Overview:

As a Junior UI/UX Designer, you will work closely with senior designers, developers, and product managers to craft user-friendly, visually engaging digital products. This entry-level role provides the opportunity to develop core UI/UX competencies and contribute to meaningful projects in the mobility sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing web and mobile interfaces from concept through implementation.
• Create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Implement and maintain UI Kits, Design Systems, and layouts using best practices.
• Apply Auto Layout for responsive and scalable designs, especially within Figma.
• Participate in user research and usability testing to improve the user experience.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and quality handoff.
• Support the continuous evolution of Drivado’s visual identity and design guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 0–1 year (including internships or strong student portfolio)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree/certification in design, HCI, computer science, or related field.
• Design Tools Expertise: Proficient in Figma (essential), with strong command of Auto Layout. Knowledge of design systems and structuring UI Kits. Familiarity with Adobe XD, Rive, Spline as a plus.
• Design Principles: Solid grasp of color theory, typography, layout, and WCAG Accessibility. Experience turning user insights into practical UI/UX solutions.
• Additional Skills: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (for communication with developers). Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to organize and maintain scalable design systems in Figma.
• Basic exposure to user research methods.
• Experience collaborating on projects using team tools (e.g., Fig Jam, Miro, Jira)
• Interest in mobility, transportation, or related digital products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Salt Lake, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
