Junior UI Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a talented engineer to join our Amorphic engineering team and contribute to building web applications and user interfaces. You will work on building and enhancing our product and improving customer user experience as part of a collaborative development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Development

  : Learn to build and maintain responsive web applications under guidance from senior team members.

• Collaboration

  : Work closely with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to implement user interfaces and learn API integration

• Implementation

  : Engage in hands-on software development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React to deliver quality user experiences with support and code reviews

• User Focus

  : Help improve user experience by learning from feedback from customers, support teams, and business users

• Problem Solving

  : Develop solutions to support business requirements and technical challenges with mentorship

• Code Quality

  : Write clean, well-documented code and actively participate in code reviews to improve skills

• Learning

  : Eagerly learn frontend technologies, best practices, and grow technical expertise through team guidance

Required Qualifications

• Education

  : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Experience

  : 0-2 years of development experience (including internships, projects, or bootcamp experience)

• Technical Skills

  :
• Basic understanding of JavaScript and familiarity with React fundamentals
• Good foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design concepts
• Exposure to modern frontend tools and development workflows
• Basic understanding of APIs and data handling
• Fundamental knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Basic familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Awareness of cross-browser compatibility and web standards
• Interest in learning state management libraries and concepts
