Job Title: Junior Software Tester Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid / Remote) Department: Product Engineering Reports To: QA Lead / Software Engineering Manager About easyQ Solutions easyQ Solutions is Indias first dedicated electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) platform built specifically for medical device and digital health companies. Our SaaS platform helps organizations streamline compliance with global standards such as ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, MDR/IVDR, and Part 11 while ensuring an intuitive, user-friendly experience. Position Overview We are seeking a Junior Software Tester to join our growing product team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, basic knowledge of software testing principles, and a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable software. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure every release meets our stringent quality and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Execute test cases (manual and automated) for web-based SaaS applications. Identify, document, and track software defects using internal tools (e.g., Jira). Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes. Review requirements and design documents to provide early feedback on quality and usability. Validate features against regulatory and product documentation (especially for eQMS modules). Support release testing and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in software testing or QA internships. Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC processes. Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, ClickUp). Knowledge of test case design and execution. Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, browsers, APIs). Excellent communication and documentation skills. Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools. Understanding of medical device software (SaMD) or regulated SaaS testing environments. Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 11, or IEC 62304.
