About the RoleWe are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with a strong foundation in Java and an understanding of modern web development principles. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, possess problem-solving skills, and have a passion for writing clean and efficient code. If you have experience with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, and Docker, its a plus!Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot is a plus). Work with SQL databases (PostgreSQL is a plus) to store and manage data efficiently. Design and implement RESTful APIs following best practices in HTTP methods. Utilize Git for version control, including branching, merging, and pull requests. (Optional) Work with Docker to containerize applications for deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop new features. Write unit tests and debug applications to ensure high performance and reliability.Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in software development. Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming concepts. Basic knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL experience is a plus). Understanding of HTTP methods and API design (RESTful services experience is a plus). Familiarity with Git and source code management workflows. (Preferred) Experience with Spring Boot, Docker, and cloud-based services. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.Nice to Have Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure, AWS preferred). Understanding of microservices architecture.
