As a Junior UI Designer at FACT, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and our engineering team to transform product specifications into clean, consistent, and user-friendly designs for FACT ERP.NG. Your responsibilities will include implementing improvements, refining legacy designs, and enhancing the overall user experience across our system. By working on UI refinements, conducting QA checks, and ensuring frontend compliance with usability and security standards, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our product. Key Responsibilities: - Translate product requirements into clear and usable UI designs and wireframes - Make visual and usability enhancements to the existing product - Conduct QA checks to identify bugs, test edge cases, and address inconsistencies pre-release - Collaborate with engineers to resolve visual, functional, and usability issues - Perform basic frontend reviews to uphold UI security and robustness - Interpret design and bug feedback from leadership to define actionable next steps - Maintain clear communication with engineers and designers to facilitate smooth execution and feedback loops With time and experience, you will: - Collaborate cross-functionally to implement scalable design practices in a complex product environment - Identify UX patterns and inconsistencies, proposing system-level improvements - Educate stakeholders on UX best practices and advocate for impactful changes Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience in UI, UX, product design, QA, or frontend development roles - Proficiency in wireframing tools such as Whimsical, Miro, or Figma for design creation and iteration - Strong attention to detail with a focus on catching UI bugs, fixing spacing, and ensuring component alignment - Ability to work efficiently, iterate based on feedback, and prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication skills, proactive follow-up, and the ability to keep projects moving forward independently - Stakeholder management skills, including clear explanation of design decisions and building alignment over time - Comfort with ambiguity, adaptability to evolving requirements, and willingness to seek clarification when necessary - Enthusiasm for learning and designing for B2B accounting and ERP solutions Role Details: - Compensation: Ranging from 2,50,000 to 5,00,000 based on candidate experience - Location: Onsite work required at our Indian headquarters in Kolkata - Start Date: Immediate availability preferred after offer acceptance Applications for this role will close on Friday, August 22nd, at 11:59 PM IST.,
