Junior UI Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior UI Designer with hands-on experience in Figma Variables and Design Token Libraries. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in visual design, a good understanding of component-based design systems, and a passion for crafting intuitive user interfaces that align with modern product standards.

You will collaborate closely with senior designers, developers, and product teams to deliver scalable, consistent, and visually appealing design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating user interface designs for web and mobile applications following brand and design guidelines.
• Work with

  Figma Variables and Token Libraries

  to maintain visual consistency across design components.
• Collaborate with senior designers to build and maintain design systems and reusable UI components.
• Create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes in Figma to visualize design concepts.
• Translate business and user requirements into effective and engaging design solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
• Support developers by providing assets, design specifications, and documentation for seamless handoff.
• Conduct UI testing and ensure alignment between design and implemented UI.

Required Skills & Experience

• 13 years of hands-on experience in UI design, preferably in a product or startup environment.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Variants, Variables, and Token Libraries.
• Understanding of Design Systems and Component Libraries.
• Knowledge of color theory, typography, spacing, and layout principles.
• Basic understanding of responsive design and interaction states.
• Ability to create design documentation and maintain design consistency across projects.
• Familiarity with developer handoff processes (using Figma Inspect, Zeplin, or Storybook).
• Good communication and collaboration skills with attention to detail.
