Experience: 01 Year

Location: Hyderabad - Working from Office (5 Days)

Working hours: 12.00pm to 9.00pm IST

About the Role

Junior Test Automation Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications

B.E / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
01 year of experience in Software Testing or Automation.
Hands-on knowledge or formal training in:
Selenium WebDriver
XPath
Cucumber (BDD Framework)
Java/Python
scripting
Basic understanding of
TestNG / JUnit
,
locators
, and
browser automation
.
Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using
Selenium WebDriver
and
Cucumber (BDD framework)
.
Create and maintain feature files, step definitions, and reusable automation components.
Identify, document, and track bugs through the defect management process.
Work closely with development and QA teams to validate software functionality.
Execute
regression
,
smoke
, and
functional
testing.
Continuously enhance automation coverage and maintain existing scripts.
Learn and implement automation best practices, frameworks, and CI/CD integration.
