Junior Technical Officer / Technical Officer (Biochemistry)

Job Description: You will be responsible for receiving and processing specimens, including quality control specimens. Your role will involve interpretations and reporting of results as necessary. Furthermore, you will be checking and printing reports, as well as dispatching them to the report dispatch area. Archiving and discarding specimens as per protocol will also be part of your duties. In case of equipment malfunction, you are expected to report to the consultant and take proactive steps to address the issue. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining, filing, archiving, and destroying records and documents as per guidelines. Stock checking, inventory control, and indent assistance will also be required. Your participation in continuous monitoring for compliance of Quality Assurance, Laboratory Safety, and Accreditation related activities is essential.
