As an IT Consultant focusing on cloud technologies, you will be responsible for optimizing and implementing cloud solutions with expertise in AWS and other cloud platforms. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating expertise in AWS and other cloud platforms to optimize and implement cloud solutions - Having experience with Boomi and Java - Working with Lambda and NodeJS - Being familiar with event-driven architecture and services like SQS, SNS, Event Bridge - Having familiarity with IaC tools like Serverless Framework (CloudFormation) or Terraform - Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems - Understanding DevOps practices and tools, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices for automated testing and deployment - Having certification in AWS or relevant cloud platforms - Knowledge of microservices architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices - Proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js and familiarity with frameworks like Serverless Framework - Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes - Understanding of agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, and DevOps - Strong understanding of low code platforms like Boomi - Familiarity with a UI framework VueJS - Experience in using Typescript In addition to the above responsibilities, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services into the overall technology strategy, establish and maintain standards for system integrations, ensure compliance with security and performance best practices, and provide strategic advice on technology usage. You will also manage IT initiatives, assist with technical issues, revise existing systems, and produce reports. Furthermore, you will stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and industry trends. For educational background, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred, although there is no specific bar on alternative acceptable educational backgrounds. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an IT Consultant with a focus on cloud technologies is required. As an IT Consultant, it is essential to have attributes such as poise, ability to manage ambiguity, initiative, dependability, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
