What You ll Do

• Understand product requirements and translate them into test strategies and test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests for web applications and APIs.
• Identify, report, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools.
• Write basic automated test scripts using Python and PyTest (or willing to learn quickly).
• Help maintain and enhance internal test automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure high-quality releases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test tooling, and coverage.

You re a Fit If You Have

• 1 2 years of experience in QA, Test Engineering, or related engineering roles.
• Exposure to

  Selenium

  , PyTest, or other automation frameworks
• Familiarity with Postman / Python-based API testing libraries (e.g., requests).
• Good understanding of Python (can write functions, loops, basic scripts).
• Strong grasp of software testing fundamentals (SDLC, STLC, test design techniques).
• Familiarity with testing web applications and REST APIs.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Analytical mindset, structured thinking, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with Postman / Python-based API testing libraries (e.g., requests).
• Understanding of CI/CD and testing in pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker / containers.
• Experience with SQL / databases.
• Curiosity about Machine Learning / AI systems.
