Job Title: Server Engineer (Windows & Linux) – Fresher

Location: Indore

Experience: Fresher – 6 Month
Industry: ITSalary ; 12500 ctc to 15000 ctc per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Fresher Server Engineer to support and manage our client’s Windows & Linux server environments. The candidate should have strong theoretical knowledge, basic practical understanding, and exposure to cyber security concepts like CEH and VAPT. The role involves server support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and assisting senior engineers in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows & Linux servers.

- Monitor server performance and system health.

- Support backup operations and assist in disaster recovery processes.

- Help manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

- Assist in applying patches, updates, and system upgrades.

- Troubleshoot basic server issues under guidance.

- Assist in implementing security best practices and system hardening.

- Support Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) activities.

- Maintain documentation of configurations and troubleshooting steps.

- Coordinate with senior engineers and IT teams to support server operations.

- Stay updated with latest trends in servers, cloud, and cyber security.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in CS / IT / Electronics or related field.

- Strong theoretical knowledge of Windows & Linux Server environments.

- Knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.

- Basic understanding of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).

- Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals.

- CEH certification (Mandatory for this role).

- Basic understanding or exposure to VAPT concepts.

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and willingness to learn.

- Ability to work in field support and team environment.

- Any internship/industrial training in servers, Linux, or cyber security will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,683.65 - ₹15,000.00 per month
