Junior Safety Officer

As a Safety Officer at our organization, your role will involve: - Developing and Implementing Safety Plans: You will be responsible for creating and implementing health and safety plans, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment across construction activities. - Ensuring Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Your key task will be to ensure adherence to legal regulations and occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines, maintaining compliance at all times. - Risk Assessment and Hazard Control: Conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement effective control measures will be a crucial part of your job. - Employee Training and Awareness: You will design and deliver training programs to educate employees on health and safety protocols, raising awareness and preparedness among the workforce. - Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigating workplace incidents, identifying root causes, and providing actionable recommendations to prevent future occurrences will be within your responsibilities. - Promoting a Safety-First Culture: Your role will involve fostering and promoting a strong health and safety culture within the organization to encourage proactive participation in safety practices. - Site Coordination with Clients: Acting as the point of contact for clients regarding on-site safety concerns and coordinating efforts to align safety measures with project requirements will be part of your duties. - Continuous Improvement: You will be expected to regularly review and update safety plans and processes to reflect evolving best practices and legal requirements.
