Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the CSE Department at IIT Ropar. The position is focused on research in the area of Cybersecurity for Cyber-Physical Systems. The initial appointment for this position will be six months, with the potential for extension up to three years based on satisfactory performance. There is also a Ph.D. opportunity available for the selected candidate to apply for the Ph.D. Program in the future. The fellowship for this position will follow Institute Norms. Essential Qualifications: - The candidate should hold a postgraduate degree (M.Tech.) in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Embedded systems, or a related discipline, along with a valid GATE/NET qualification. OR - An undergraduate degree (B.Tech./B.E.) in Computer, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Embedded systems, or a related discipline with a valid GATE qualification. Candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree from an IIT/IIIT/NIT are not required to have a GATE/NET qualification. Technical Knowledge: - Knowledge of embedded and IoT systems is considered desirable for this position. The application deadline for this position is 15th August 2025.
