Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

As a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the SERB-sponsored project, you will be involved in the Simulation of relativistic astrophysical flow problems using modern efficient stable schemes for a maximum duration of 3 years. The position is temporary, starting with an initial one-year appointment, which can be extended to three years based on your performance. There is a possibility of promotion to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the third year. Additionally, you will be encouraged to apply to the regular PhD program of the institute. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct research on relativistic astrophysical flow problems using modern efficient stable schemes. - Work under the guidance of Principal Investigator Dr. Biswarup Biswas at Mahindra University, Hyderabad. - Analyze and interpret data related to the project. - Collaborate with team members and contribute to project meetings. - Prepare reports and presentations on research findings. Qualifications Required: - Hold an M.Sc. in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics or an M.Tech. degree with a strong foundation in Mathematics, or any equivalent degree with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. - Preference will be given to candidates with NET/GATE qualification. - Desirable skills include knowledge of any programming language and good communication skills.
