Junior Quantitative Analyst with strong affinity towards Python

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to identify insights and drive business outcomes.
• Perform

  statistical modelling and machine learning

  for forecasting, classification, and decision support.
• Develop and maintain robust

  Python-based data pipelines and analytical models.

• Scrape, clean, and inject external data sources using web scraping tools and APIs.
• Solve operational challenges using

  optimization techniques

  such as

  linear programming and MILP.

• Create clear and insightful

  data visualizations

  and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Communicate findings effectively in

  excellent spoken and written English to talk to foreign clients.

• Write efficient and maintainable

  SQL queries

  to manipulate and query structured databases.
• Use

  Git version control

  for collaborative development and project management.
• Participate in regular team reviews, planning, and brainstorming sessions.

Must Have Skills

• Bachelors degree in

  Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics

  , or a closely related field.
• Excellent

  spoken and written English

  skills.
• 02 years of experience in a data-driven or analytical role.
• Passion for learning and using Python to tackle real-world problems, as Python coding will be a core part of the job.
• Understanding of

  statistical concepts

  and their practical applications.
• Proficiency in

  SQL

  for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Familiarity with

  web scraping tools

  (Python).
• Ability to create effective

  Data Visualizations and Dashboards.

• Experience using

  Git

  for version control in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

• Masters degree in quantitative field.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with time-series forecasting or advanced ML algorithms.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating external data sources.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and software engineering workflows.
• Knowledge of Optimization Techniques - Liner Programming, Mixed Integer Linear Programming
