Junior Quantitative Analyst

As a member of Cloudcraftz, a Singapore/India-based boutique quantitative research and AI services provider, you will be an integral part of our fast-growing Quantitative Finance practice. Your primary responsibilities will involve designing, testing, developing, and executing quantitative algorithmic trading strategies, models, and analytics. At Cloudcraftz, we place a strong emphasis on Machine Learning and AI as fundamental components of our design philosophy. Therefore, familiarity with these concepts is essential for this role. The ideal candidate should be a high-achieving graduate or postgraduate in finance, technology, statistics, or related fields with 1-3 years of experience. While prior experience in financial modeling or knowledge of financial markets is not mandatory, it is advantageous. In this role, you will need to embrace ambiguity while applying rigorous and systematic scientific approaches to problem-solving. We value curiosity paired with quantitative aptitude, and we encourage a willingness to learn and experiment with new ideas and methods. Proficiency in software development using Python/C++ and exposure to associated environments and libraries for data science, scientific computing, and quantitative finance are necessary. Effective written and oral communication skills are crucial, as you will be required to present information clearly and concisely. This full-time position is based in Kolkata initially, but opportunities for relocation to our Bengaluru and Singapore offices may be available for suitable candidates.
