As a Junior QA/QC Inspection Engineer, your role will involve supporting Third Party Inspection (TPI) services on a 12-hour shift basis during shutdown operations in Gujarat. Your responsibilities will include reading and interpreting isometric & P&ID drawings, performing fit-up & weld visual inspections, reviewing and qualifying WPS, PQR, and Welder Qualifications, witnessing various tests, conducting internal and external inspections of piping and equipment, and generating inspection reports. Key Responsibilities: - Read and interpret isometric & P&ID drawings - Perform fit-up & weld visual inspections - Review and qualify WPS, PQR, and Welder Qualifications as per ASME Sec IX - Witness various tests such as DPT, PAUT, UT, MPT, PMI, Ferrite, Hardness Testing - Conduct internal and external inspections of piping, Pressure Vessels, Columns, Reactors, Heat Exchangers, Heaters, Boilers, Tanks - Generate and issue inspection reports and recommendations Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Engineering with minimum 7 years of QA/QC experience, or Engineering Degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fabrication & erection of piping, and inspection of vessels, columns, heat exchangers, spheres, tanks, and reactors - Mandatory Qualifications: ASNT Level II in RT (Radiographic Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing), MPT (Magnetic Particle Testing), DPT (Dye Penetrant Testing) You should be familiar with Codes & Standards such as ASME BPVC Section II, V, VIII Div. I, IX, ASME B31.3, API 510, API 570, OISD Standards, and Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR).
