Junior QA Engineer

You will be responsible for conducting thorough manual testing and API validations using tools like Postman to ensure software quality and reliability. You will derive comprehensive test cases from user stories, ensuring alignment with business requirements and coverage of all functionalities. It will be your duty to execute test cases and meticulously update results in the test case management tool, such as UiPath Test Manager. Collaborating closely with the development team to prioritize and resolve defects in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines is also a key aspect of this role. Monitoring testing processes, promptly identifying any deviations, and communicating them to the Team Lead to maintain process integrity will be essential. You are expected to stay updated on the latest testing methodologies and tools, demonstrating a passion for rapid learning and adaptation. Effective teamwork and collaboration within a team environment, contributing to collective goals, and supporting peers as needed are also important aspects of this role. To be successful in this role, you should have 2-3 years of experience in Manual QA, with a strong foundation in API testing. Hands-on experience with UiPath Test Manager and API testing tools like Postman is required. Proven experience working within Agile frameworks, understanding sprints, stand-ups, and iterative development is essential. A comprehensive understanding of defect identification, logging, tracking, and resolution processes is also needed.
